Product Visual Discrepancies

We are making every possible effort to produce our products as perfectly as possible. What you will observe on the website is a view that results in the discrepancy of every computer screen - like colors, shades, textures, sizes and appearances, etc. A customer may request photographs of products other than the ones displayed online by emailing shop@asterlane.com.

• Asterlane Pvt. Ltd holds all social media posted by the company on Google Plus, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram under its copyright act.
• Action must be taken as per jurisdiction of Supreme Court of India for any kind of plagiarism. Prices of all premium quality carpets are stated on our site and we acknowledge your order by contacting you with an order confirmation via email.
• Our website might have links to third party sites that we are not responsible for. We hold no responsibility and accountability for the material posted on these third-party websites.
• You shall not upload, show, host, alter, circulate, transfer, inform, list or share unrightfully any piece of information that:


(a) is a property of someone other than you.

Credit/Debit Card Particulars

You understand, approve, and confirm the accuracy of credit/debit card details provided by you for using our services on our website. Credit cards should be your own and should include correct and valid details. The info given by you will neither be used nor shared by us with any third party unless necessary for scam proof by the law’s guideline or order of the court. We cannot be held responsible for any credit card fraud. You will be responsible for potential credit card fraud. The duty to prove wrongdoing shall be solely on you.

Trademarks, logos, and service marks shown on the website are our possessions. You are forbidden to use any mark for any purpose without prior written permission from us or the third party. All of the information and content together with any software program on our website is secured by copyright. Users cannot transform, duplicate, dispense, spread, show, circulate, vend, certify, or generate unoriginal work by using any existing content on our website for marketable or community purposes.

Arbitration

In the situation of any legal issue between the company and the customer throughout individual use of the website in association with rationality, interpretation, execution, or purported breach of any provision of this agreement including the privacy policies and documents incorporated through reference, the dispute shall be mentioned to a sole arbitrator who will be an independent and neutral third party acknowledged by the Company. The location of arbitration will be Jaipur and The Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996, shall administer the arbitration proceedings. The proceedings shall be in the English language.

Governing Law

The agreement and privacy policy of documents incorporated by reference will be administrated and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India by exclusive jurisdiction conferred in the courts in Jaipur.

Asterlane Return & Exchange Policy 

 1. Return & Exchange Policy 

• Customers may request a return or exchange within 15 days of receiving their order.
• Returns and exchanges are only applicable to non-custom, non-discounted items .
• All returns are subject to a quality inspection before approval.
• Asterlane does not charge a restocking fee for returns or exchanges.
• Exchange will only be processed after the returned product passes Quality Control & Check .
• Customers may exchange for another product or coupon code. Exchanges for lower-value items will not be eligible for partial refunds.
• Asterlane provides free return shipping for exchanges within India.

 

2. Payment Policy & Accepted Payment Methods 

Asterlane accepts payments via:

• Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
• Net Banking (for domestic transactions)
• UPI & Wallet Payments (Google Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay)
• Bank Wire Transfer (for bulk and B2B orders)
• Store Credit & Gift Cards 

Customers opting for instalment payments (EMI, Klarna, Afterpay) will be subject to terms of the respective provider. 

Payments must be settled  in full before dispatch , except for  approved corporate accounts , where payment terms may be discussed.

 

3. Cancellation Policy 

• Asterlane reserves the right to cancel any order after placement at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or non-compliance with company policies.
• If an order has  not been shipped, customers may still request cancellation, but this is subject to approval.
• Once an order is processed and shipped, it cannot be canceled, and customers must follow the return process instead.
• Custom and made-to-order rugs cannot be canceled once the order is confirmed.

 

4. Return & Shipping   

• Free return shipping is offered within the India only .
• If a rug arrives damaged in transit, customers must inform Asterlane immediately. Our team will assist in resolving the issue with the shipping carrier. 
• Refunds are processed between 7-21 business days, depending on banking institutions.

 

5. Dispute Resolution 

• In case of payment or order disputes, customers must first contact Asterlane's Customer Support within 7 days of the issue arising.
• If the dispute remains unresolved, Asterlane may offer a mediation process .
• If further escalation is required, the dispute will be handled as per applicable consumer protection laws.
• Asterlane reserves the right to suspend accounts suspected of fraudulent activity .

 

6. Chargeback & Fraud Protection 

• All transactions are verified via  secure payment gateways  to prevent fraudulent activities.
• Customers initiating  unauthorised chargebacks may be permanently banned from purchasing at Asterlane.
• If fraud is suspected, Asterlane reserves the right to:

- Hold shipments until payment verification is completed.

- Request additional identification (in case of high-value transactions).

- Report fraudulent transactions to relevant authorities.

 

7. Digital Invoicing & Tax Compliance 

• Asterlane provides a digital invoice for all domestic orders.
• Digital invoices will be sent via email upon shipping of the product.
• Business customers requiring tax exemptions should provide their tax identification at checkout.

 

8. Warranty & Care Policy 

• Machine-made rugs are covered under a  6-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
  This does  not  cover:
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Shedding or sprouting
  • Color fading due to sun exposure
  • Customers should refer to Asterlane’s  Care & Maintenance Guide  for best cleaning practices.

 

9. Gift Cards & Store Credit 

•  Asterlane gift cards are available in digital format and are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  
  

10. Order Tracking & Notifications 

• Customers will receive an order tracking link via email or SMS once the order is shipped.
• Tracking updates are available via Asterlane's Order Tracking Portal on the website.
• For any issues with tracking, customers can contact customer support.

 

11. Liability Disclaimer 

• Once an order has been shipped, Asterlane's responsibility for the product extends until it has been successfully delivered to the customer. Upon delivery confirmation, Asterlane assumes no further liability for loss, damage, or delays, except as required under applicable consumer protection laws.
• Customers are responsible for inspecting their product upon arrival and filing claims with Asterlane if damage occurs in transit. Asterlane will assist in the claims process as per applicable laws .
• Asterlane does not accept liability for third-party shipping issues or customer handling errors post-delivery.
• Asterlane reserves the right to deny refunds or exchanges if a product is found to be used, soiled, altered, or damaged by the customer .
• In cases of suspected fraudulent claims, Asterlane may request additional proof before approving a return.
